Frequent Questions

Q: How do I get a job with DTC?
A: The first step is to complete a profile account (job application) and announce your availability.

If your skills and job needs match a job that is a fit, a recruiter will reach out to you. Your profile information also allows DTC to send you potential job matches, so keep it updated!

We do NOT sell nor share your personal information with advertisers. Your information is in a secured system and we only use your information for employment related purposes. DTC does use 3rd parties, all of whom are bound by privacy laws, for things such as background checks, tax filings, and employment tax credits. Your information is private and protected by the Fair Credit Reporting Act and other privacy laws. For more information, please visit our Privacy Policy and our Employee Handbook.

Bring 2 valid forms of identification to meet I-9 standards.  Example is Driver’s license, US Passport, birth certificate, social security card.  Also bring your recent job history with you including the names of companies, addresses, phone numbers, position, etc.

It usually takes about an hour but depends upon the type of position applying for and how busy we are.  We will complete an interview, skills testing, and other screening requirements at this time.

We hire lots of people! So, chances are pretty good. However, we simply are not able to hire or guarantee a job for every applicant due to a variety of reasons such as more job applicants than open jobs, lack of assignments available, skill mismatches, experience, availability, unable to make contact with you, etc.

DTC pays weekly. The day of your paycheck varies by client company and location. When you are assigned to a job, you will be given detailed information including all payroll information.

Depending upon the type of job you are applying for and the corresponding screening requirements you can receive a job in as little as one day or less!  Jobs that require drug screening, background checks, and other pre-screening requirements may take longer.  However, we are not able to promise that you will get a job.

Different jobs have different requirements.  But, at the minimum you must be at least 18 years of age and have some job history.  Since all of our jobs are industrial, warehouse, or manufacturing jobs most of our jobs require the ability to lift, bend, sit, and stand all day every day with no restrictions.

Our jobs vary vastly in terms of location, duties, and length of assignment. As a company, we do not use the word “permanent” as it is very subjective (is permanent 6 months, one year, five years?).  However, all of our clients are large companies, many with numerous long-term opportunities. Most of our jobs begin as short-term assignments and depending upon numerous variables, can turn into long-term or direct hire jobs with our customers.  If you need a job, we encourage you to apply.

Call your local office and ask for the office manager or your account manager you interviewed with and placed you on a job. If you would like to report discrimination or other incidents, please call our DTC Anonymous Reporting at 913-260-2567 or email@dtcjobs.com.

DTC is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes all applicants regardless of their protected class or background. Depending upon some of our customer’s needs and requirements for a position, a criminal background check may be required.
